Staying with a natural dye and weaving family in Mexico, Narelle lit fires at dawn and dusk, foraged, fermented, squeezed and pulped native plants into the dye pot to extract colours and dye locally spun wool.

Adding a layer of knowledge of mixing and exhausting dye baths to achieve a myriad of shades further deepening her knowledge.
